Standard off-the-shelf EU Mode 2 portable chargers are certified as integrated units. On-site mains plug replacement by end-users is not recommended. Unauthorized modification alters the original electrical structure, contact resistance and insulation design, which will most likely void CE and IC-CPD certification and introduce safety risks.
