Does a larger current supported by the EV Charger mean faster charging speed?

Not necessarily. Actual charging speed is determined by the lowest of three factors: the vehicle's onboard charger (OBC), the charging station's output capacity, and the charging gun — the "weakest link" effect. For example, if the gun supports 32A but the vehicle's OBC only supports 16A, charging will still run at 16A. We recommend matching the gun's current rating to the vehicle's maximum acceptance. DEGSON AC series covers 16A to 63A, while the DC series goes up to 380A, available in various standards to suit different needs.
