DEGSON Relays for Lithium Battery Industry
DEGSON relays feature five core functions: small-current to large-current conversion, signal amplification, contact expansion, electrical isolation and logic control. These products cover the full scenarios of lithium battery manufacturing, BMS, PACK assembly, charge & discharge, energy storage and equipment testing.
01 Lithium Battery Production & Automated Assembly Lines
• Pole piece & cell conveying and sorting: Small signals from PLCs and sensors are transmitted via relays to drive air cylinders, solenoid valves and conveyor motors, enabling precise start-stop and multi-station linkage.
• Liquid injection, sealing, formation and capacity grading: Control the start, stop and switching of liquid injection pumps, sealing mechanisms, formation cabinets and capacity grading cabinets. Expand contacts to drive multiple actuators and indicator lights simultaneously.
• Testing equipment (voltage, internal resistance, short-circuit and withstanding voltage test): Switch test loops, isolate high and low voltages, expand contact groups to support parallel testing of multiple battery cells.
• Spot welding machine control: Small trigger signals act on relays to switch high-current discharge loops and realize sequential spot welding.
02 Battery Management System (BMS)
• High-voltage loop isolation: Low-voltage control signals (5V/12V) pass through relays to drive main contactors. It achieves complete isolation between high voltage and low voltage to protect the BMS main control board.
• Charge and discharge control: Switch pre-charging, main charging and main discharging loops; cut off circuits rapidly in case of overvoltage, overcurrent and overtemperature for safety protection.
• Fault diagnosis and protection: Realize contact adhesion detection and status feedback; complete fault judgment and protection triggering within 20ms.
• Signal expansion: Convert one-channel PLC output into multi-channel contacts through relays to synchronously control contactors, indicators, buzzers and remote alarms.
03 Lithium Battery PACK & Energy Storage Systems
• PACK module control: Manage cell balancing, cooling fans and heating films inside modules; realize series-parallel switching of multiple modules.
• Energy storage PCS & converters: Control the connection and disconnection between battery clusters and PCS, and cut off circuits immediately upon faults to prevent failure escalation.
• Grid-tied & off-grid switching: relays execute mode switching between grid-connected and off-grid operations under BMS logic control
